Zombie Area! App Reviews

I love Zombie games. Im a huge zombie geek and have downloaded a lot of them: both Pride and Prejudice and Zombies the book and the game (both fun), Zombieville USA (pretty cute), Zombie Highway (freaking awesome), Zombie World 2 (charming), Plants VS Zombies (love it, one of my faves), Zombie Contract Killer (Meh), Push the Zombie (blah) and Office Zombie (even worse). Out of all of them, its Zombie Arena! that is my top favorite Zombie app that Ive recently played. I know there will probably be more, at least I hope so. Its exactly what you want: the chance to kill and shoot zombies. Gameplay is pretty simple (tap the screen, but be quick about it) and the graphics are clean and cool. The music rocks, too (Ive unlocked three of the five tunes so far. Awesome). I like that its exactly what you want it to be: a simple straight up zombie shooter where theres tons of blood, guts and gore, albeit in a cartoony sort of way. That just takes makes it more fun. You never really run out of bullets, its easy to play and there arent a lot of things to unlock (only three screens and five background songs). You just press play, kill some zombies and shoot. In short, pretty freaking awesome in every way. Ive had the chance to take a look a couple of Rapid Turtle Games offerings (Crazy Little Jumper is exactly what it sounds like but wonderfully funny and cut in its own way. The free version is worth giving a look) but Zombie Arena! is totally awesome, simple and fun. Plus, you get to shoot lots of Zombies. Whats not to like?

Its fun but you cant use mony or anything to unlock stuff the only Way you can unlock stuff is By getting different type of kills

Great game

This is a good little time killer. I picked it up and have been playing for the last 20 minutes or so. Very simple and addictive gameplay. Good arcade title, will live on my iPad for a long time.

Nice graphics an fun gameplay. Very addictive. Just fix issue with the 4S

Graphics - clean concise and beautifully presented. Sound - pretty solid background music, there are others to choose from, but must be unlocked via head shots, leg shot, etc. Gameplay - zombie killing that is easy to play, hard to master. Tap on the incoming zombies, ground and air and kill as much as you can. There is only one level, but two more can be unlocked via killing the required zombies. Controls - on the iphone solid and simple. Just tap your target to destroy. One problem, on the iPad 2, controls seem to be unresponsive. Hopefully a fix can be done on an update. Overall - A solid, fun, entertaining zombie killing experience. Easy to play, hard to master and hard to put down. Best of all NO IAPs present. for the price of 1.99 I feel that this is worth the price. Suggestions - please fix the iPad 2 issue and hopefully more weapons to use.

I woulda liked it a lot more had I been able to move. Not just stand there while they come at me.

You have to shoot shoot and keep on shooting to get past this game and the zombies. The zombies walking on the ground are easy to kill its the flying ones you have to watch out for. Get the game to see for your self.

Love the new update! The score system is getting better and better! Advice for your next update would be a new stage or zombie type! Maybe a new unlockable shotgun? Keep the fun coming!

This is one of the better comic style graphic shooters!!!! Plus who doesnt like killing a hoard of zombies.

Love the game! The flying zombies that get shot in the air are the best! Would love to see an option foe weapons and more backgrounds! My only complaint is the game crashes every other level! Fantastic game otherwise!

The game is fun but it would be good to have different options for weapons and characters.
